I fitted my own, but bought everything from towequipe (http://www.towequipe.co.uk) , they advise on what relay you need, and order it at the time. You also need to get under the car and run a live cable from the battery to the back, to find a way through the car inside. Outside was easier for me.

The parts you need are dependant if you are fitting single or twin electrics. I fitted a 13 pin socket on my S60 and bought a kit like you from towequipe and was happy with the quality. Used a Brink detachable bar.

Hi . I fitted a tow bar to my V70 this summer. I bought a vehicle specific kit from the supplier cost about £30 somthing. So easy and saved about £180 .It took about 3hrs taking it easy . Give it a go, good luck.

If its a 7 pin your putting in it quiet easy cos you just wire everything into back lights, if its a 13pin then you need to run a wire as said above from battery as i think it was only later models that came prewired,

With indicaters you have 2 options, the usual buzzer in back that beeps when you have a trailer on or get 4 pin indicater relay from volvo that just flashes a light on dash instead,
