Default Help with warning lights

Hi, what a great forum, with loads of helpful info. I've just bought a v40 2.0T 1990 with 88k miles. It has a few issues that I'm gradually sorting, but so far I am pleased. I never imagined buying a Volvo, but am glad I did.

Temperature- was running cool and heating was poor. I changed the thermostat and that sorted those issues as well as giving be another 5 mpg. Now it runs at 30mpg.

Dash illumination- got new bulbs for the heating controls.
A few other bulbs got changed
I still have a fog light to change, as it has a cracked glass.
I also have the turbo oil seal to change as theres evidence of a leak.

I need some advice about a couple of warning lamps. The airbag and washer fluid lights are on. The washer level is fine, but I haven't had the airbags checked yet.

I just want to make sure that those two lights on at once are'nt a code for anything else.

Thanks for all the great tips and information so far.

I'm having a similar problem, my light blinks on intermitantly despite plenty of fluid, it's very annoying.

Anyone have any idea's why???
