Ok, I sound a little cheesey but I've just got back from the U.K where I picked up my new (old 1999 V40) and I'm one happy chap leather seats top of the range 20.i with sports pack alloys ect, the car looked new had full service history the oil looked like it would in a new car.

Sorry I cant remember the guy who suggested looking on this site for second hand cars but thats where I saw the add.

She got me all the way back to Sweden without missing a beat, best part of 900miles no funky noieses nothing. All for 1600 pound cheers guys for the advise and all.

Even when you take in the travel exspenses and the cost to register the car here I've saved 1500 pound and got the car I wanted.

Tak

Congrats on the new purchase. Saved you a bomb on local taxes I bet.
Was it a left or /right hand drive?

Wow...I thought in Sweden you would have had loads of choice/options in Volvo's. I bet they even have rear heated seats as standard up there

Good luck with it and many happy kilometers
