Default V40 Tailgate Reflector

Hello everybody, just wondering if anybody can tell me how to get the lens cover off the tailgate of my v40, i have unscrewed the two nuts, pulled and pushed but it does'nt seem to want to move, any ideas please, thanks.

You'll need to remove the carpet panel from the back of the tailgate & then you'll see all the nuts holding it in place.
I think I have highlighted all the fixings in this pic! Maybe a couple more but it was back in the summer when I did this!

Hello, thanks for replying, do i have to replace the whole lot or will i be able to get to the one that is broken when i take the full piece off ?

You have to replace the whole panel I'm sorry to say! Its all one sealed unit!

Thanks for that firebolt, dont suppose you'd know if it would fail an mot with a hole in it ?

I think it would fail as it could show white light. When is you MOT?
