You'd just use the original 740 flywheel. You wouldn't be able to use the dual mass one anyway as it has timing marks for LH2.4 as opposed to Motronic. As far as I'm aware the DMF doesn't really present a problem in the 900's as it does in the later cars? Not exactly much fun though and very heavy! |

Picked up the 740 Turbo yesterday.
I picked her up yesterday. Initial thoughts are that the condition is not as good as described, and that I have paid too much for the car. It was £895 with 12 Month MOT and 6 months tax included. It has a couple of new tyres on. new front discs and new pads all round. New clutch ! I am towing my caravan to Wales next week.
On driving home the car felt great but the viscous fan is stuck on so will do a swap from my 240 for the time being. It is also overboosting as it cut power dramatically when powering up to 90 ish in top. I will be posting on the general 740/940 section later for advice on a few bits and pieces. |
