Always liked white 740 turbo's, 1988 will be non cat though wont it ? Does that mean it's non ecu controlled car and not as tweakable as later 940 models ?? I am thinking of getting one to replace my 240 torslanda as I want turbo power to play about with.

Very nice! I'm thinking the earlier 'flat' fronted 740's are looking better and better as time goes on.

It will have Bosch motronic fuel injection - not the most accurate of systems as it's not lambda controlled, but it'll probably do the job til a certain point! Swap that M46 for an M90 and it'll be a cracker

I'm just wondering if summats wrong with it; it was on the Bay of E not so long ago, three months maybe?

Apart from anything else, what proof does he have about the 200 hp?

Gotta admit, smart looking car, though!

I'd just assume it has standard 182bhp unless he has a chip tuning printout or something - either way I doubt you'd be disappointed

Thats what I was thinking. Although I'm going to guess he's put an MBC on it because there's a longer silicone tube fitted to the actuator in some of the pictures.
