  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

ticking noise from under dash when decelerating thru 75 - 70 - 65 mph when de-clutched and aircon off, tick tick tick tick - its driving me nuts nuts nuts , trims been checked, hearing aokay? noisier when weather cold - possible exhaust manifold gasket(s)leak, or STC?

S80 2000 2.5 tdi 38k

is it a relay sort of tick? or more like a tappet/engine tick? are you sure its coming under the dash... sounds travel in cars so your convinced its in one place and u rip everything out then it turns out to be at the other end of the b**ding car :P

its not tappets, perhaps relay - in any case local dealer plumped for brake vacume pump and replaced it, i have yet to have a proper cold morning start to fully test - i have my doubts though...
