URGENT REQUEST FOR ANY HELP

Hi I have owned the above car from new, It was delivered to my home, from day one the car pulled to the left, It has been back with two differant Volvo garages but they are unable to fix the problem. It is driving me to dispare, can I say the car feels dangerous to drive at times, the cars steering feels as if it has no direction, i.e, can pull to the left or stay on a straight course or pull to the right. Some S60 have had a recall re steering problems, unfortunatly mine was not on the list. An AA inspection was carried out in 2003, there report said " that the car needs further investigation ? " I REALLY DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO BUT SELL THE CAR the cars milage is 13.500 miles
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE.....HELP.

Can any one tell me of any organisation where I can take the car for there thoughts, where Volvo will take notice of there findings or any person to whome will take action.......Thank You very much for any help

As you can see from other posts, steering problems seem to be a feature of these cars especially with big wheels - since the AA report has already said further investigation is needed, you should go to your supplying dealer, ask to see the dealer principal and make the point that the car has been documented as having a problem from delivery.

Say they should either fix it or you will - at their expense - get an independent engineer to assess the vehicle to see what is wrong in his opinion.

If as I expect the dealer tells you to get lost, contact the Consumer Association and pay the reasonable fee to take up their legal service - the number is 0800 252 100 for information.

Letters from the Which people usually produce good results - also point out that you're posting progress or lack of it on the VOC site, which is a pool of potential customers and is also monitored by Volvo UK - not good for the dealer's future as a Volvo franchisee.

Perhaps you could publish Volvos response on here. My S60 suffers similar problems.

Try swopping the wheels front to rear,

I have done a couple of cars the same one of them felt dangerious, I bet your running pirelli P6000's tyre.
If you put the car on full lock and run the palm of your hand round the tyre tread there will be a shape edge's on the tread and this can cause the car to wonder excessivly on bumpy roads.

I know the s60's with the big wheels do tend to tramline abit more than the ones with smaller wheels but the tyre problem can be easly missed.
