2010 XC90 Rear nr Side Running light

Hi I was just checking out the lights and the rear bumper nr side running light appeared to have a blown bulb.
I took of the lens and to my surprize found there wasn't any bulb holder or any electrics in there, Is this correct ?
I have only had the car a couple of weeks and i am just getting to know it.

Yes that's correct. The one on the RH side is the rear fog light. If it really bothers you, you can get a lamp unit for the LH side (it's for LH drive cars) and fit it. The wiring is already in place!
