Cool V70 Tdi top engine mount

OK just got a new bush as the old one is in the wrong way and I suspect the cause of a lot of vibration.
Up arrow is obvious but the centre sleeve is offset, so which way does it go; offset to the front or the back?

Offset to the front...the larger bump-stop to the rear to absorb impact.

Thanks for that, I had a feeling it might be that as the one in seemed to be offset to the front but with a big gap to the rear in the slotted hole in the bracket. Strange setup when the bush is in with the arrow to the front!

Out of curiosity I tried fitting a Meyle HD bush, on my 850, with the arrow pointing forwards but the vibrations through the bulkhead were increased so reverted back to the original position.

Your pic displays how it would look when standing at the right wing.

Yes, that's the way the one that's in is and there's a lot of vibration. Checked all the other mounts and they seem fine.
