You are been steering in the wrong direction here.

The heads are the same for the 2.0 and 2.3 including turbo models. Turbo heads do have sodium filled valves.

The turbo bottom end does give a lower CR by using dished pistons so to use your turbo block you would need to change the pistons.

There is a lot of work in doing a turbo conversion and lots of little details to address. It can be done but you would spend less just buying a good turbo car.

You could convert your 2.0 to 2.3 by fitting a NA B230 bottom end and use your B200 head or just fit a complete B230F engine

Ok thanks, I think I will start looking for an 2.3 n.a engine or short block. Many thanks.

Apologies for that, been a while since i was at the oily end of a B230 or similar!

The past 2 years has been spent around 90 degree V6s with a 4.0L straight 6 thrown into the mix for the 2 years before that.

Can only do the best with the knoledge you have and at least you made a effort to help with the right kind of advice (just not 100% on the details)

B27 was the worst version with the B28 getting a little less bad. The B280 is much better but they were not used for long before being replaced by the B6304

I still would like a B280 Turbo

I had a B27-engined car for a few days once. I try to keep it a secret as it was one of those French things that starts with "Pugs" and ends in "hit" and the numbers "604" somewhere on it.

A B280ET would be a lot of fun, especially one turbo per bank!

As for my other 90 degree V6s, they're C27s but that's another story!

steve940estate has done it...

The biggest problems were the wiring and the ABS unit. If you look under the bonnet of a turbo car you will see the battery and ABS units are on the opposite side to your car. So not only do you have to move the major components you have to change the wiring loom and brake pipes. It doesn't end there because the wiring behind the dash is different as well. Ecu's etc will need to match the engine.
Going from a lower powered car to a turbo one will probably mean a change of axle as well.

It isn't impossible but it is a lot of work and once you have finished you have the extra hassle of insuring a modified car.

If you stick with a non turbo engine it's a straight swap but will also need the correct ECU's assuming the injection system on your car is the same as the new engine..
