Volvo 740 6 door for sale
The other day I saw a car for sale, in case anyone here is interested. It's a 740 6-door limousine in yellow, £895.
It's located on Roch Valley Way in Rochdale. A quick Google maps brings up j&r wedding cars at that location, so fair bet that they are the seller. |

Thanks Jon!
The bumpers look like the early style but that isn't a guarantee that it is an early car. I know that very often when something like this is done as a conversion, the car is bought and it then takes a couple of years to do the conversion before the car is registered even. Whichever way you look at it, it's a fair bet that stretched limos have been repainted at some point.

Majority of Volvo 740 limos (and Hearses) I have seen over the years have been blue (originally).

I don't think i've seen a 740 Limo in the flesh, if i have it would have been a long time ago. Seen a few hearses but again, a long time ago.
These days it seems that even the dead want a "modern" taking them on their final road trip - let's face it, they're not really in a position to notice, much less complain!

Not a Volvo then?
I have three songs i want played - Highway to Hell blaring out from the hearse on the way there, Bat Out of Hell in the background during the proceedings and then Fire! (Crazy World of Artur Brown) at the end as the coffin disappears into the final resting place. That should liven things up a wee bit!

Not a Volvo, they're not my first love. Music...one will be Jerusalem by Emerson Lake and Palmer.
