Default V60 T4 Battery Replacement

Evening all, I am looking to replace the battery on my 2013 (62) V60 1.6 T4.

The vehicle is a Jap Import so all the instructions are in Japanese which isn't helpful.

First off, just wanted to check - I don't think I have start stop, can't find a button anywhere and its never done 'start-stop', however, my battery is over 10 years old so it could be just faulty or low in charge.

I'm assuming I do not require a special AGM battery however can someone confirm the T4 of my year didn't have start stop?

Secondly, if I replace the battery (seen some Youtube videos, looks straight forward) do I need to tell the vehicle I have changed the battery? Or is it just a change and forget.

I know that sounds mental however my X3 had to have it done and BMW wanted a hilarious sum of money to tell the ECU my battery had been changed. Ended up having to get it done via local indy at a fraction of the cost, however still a strange concept.
