S40 (New) General : - S40 1.8 Flex 2008

Hi, My cooling/ engine fan not working, any chance someone could know wher i can locate ECT sensor in S40 1.8 petrol 2008.Thanks

why do you think it is broken? That fan should only kick in with stop and go traffic with very high temperatures (30+ degrees).

I have a S40 1.8 for a year and did 20k+ kms and I never had the fan go on... just depending on the kind of driving you do.

but around freezing it will definitely not come on

I've also never had the fan come on in my 2.0 and the temperature sits bang in the middle of the dial.
