Yes, I had read that on here before and that getting the exact one was crucial.
Takes more time finding than replacing.
Cheers

150 Amp and 120 Amp. both under £200 after discount, but i believe they are recon units as there is a refundable deposit on them

Is it the Denso units we've seen so many of failing on this Forum? if so I wouldn't let that put me off replacing it with another Denso.

OE Manufacturers receive a lot of feedback on their products and very often introduce improvements and modified designs going forward. This is why you are often best to stick with genuine original parts rather than aftermarket/pattern parts as the genuine stuff will likely have had the original weaknesses improved upon so it doesn't fail again.

My experiences of this:

OE replacement Volvo Breather Diaphragm - improved
OE replacement Volvo reverse light switch - improved
OE replacement Citroen Climate Control actuator - improved
OE replacement Peugeot Bottom Pulley - improved

It is the Denso that has such a poor rating here.
You may be right that they have improved them but am I going to take that risk ???
With so many out there around the same price as Denso I guess it's pot luck how good any of them are.

The RTX on carparts are indeed reconded.

With no extra electrics on my car, I'm thinking the 120 amp is for me, any one know please ?

You can switch to the 150A but should have a software update done to the car following the change if it originally had the 120A

For what is worth my replacement Denso has lasted about 6 years and 100K so far.
