Default V40 roof rails

Pair of V40 roof rails.

End caps have the usual problem. All have broken clips. A couple stay on as they are, two probably wouldn't.

£40 delivered

Hi,

Having never fitted these before, are the clips required for structural support or are they decorative?

Thanks,

They are decorative, but it would look pretty rough without them.

If you are considering attaching them only when needed then it's worth considering that the thread in the roof seems pretty easy to strip so on/off/on/off might be risky...

Roof rails are now on ebay and I can't ens them as they finish tomorrow. Clear lenses the same.

If you bid for the rails you'll probably get them cheaper than what I asked on here. :-)

Just a wee note to say that roof rails will be dead easy to fit. Unscrew four small covers on the trim at each end of the roof, rails just sit on top and are secured with a 10mm bolt at each end. Dead easy to fit. Hope this helps whoever buys these :-)
