Default wiper motor install help '69 145

Hi,

I need to remove and install a new windshield wiper motor in my 1969 145S. Any helpful advice and tips would be most appreciated.

Thanks, Brian

Take the whole wiper rack out from under the dash. Nothing much else has to be removed.

Hi,

I have all of the bolts holding the rack in place removed. I also have the entire rack assembly moved down but really don't see any way the entire unit is going to come out without removing part of the heater box and or the fuse panel which is connected to the heater box. Am I missing something or?

Thanks, Brian

It can go past the heater without removing it. The last one I did I pulled the glove compartment scoop out so it went sideways. Definitely didn't move the heater or fuse box though.

Hi,

The '69 145 I have does not have a glove box. It does(removed) and shield that covers under the dash from the divers side to the passenger of which hides the heater box and central fuse panel.
