Default Much Loved 940 Highlander:

Regretfully, owing to illness, must dispose of my wife and my daily driver.

1993 Volvo 940 Highlander Estate.

We have run this car since 2002; and she has completed endless journeys backwards and forwards to France with no problems. The Highlander is a real Load Lugger! With the rear seats folded flat, and a couple of sleeping bags then you have a mobile home! (just joking).

Loads of work completed over the years.

Now needs some TLC.

Faults:

Head gasket blew in France in late 2017 and I transported her back to the UK nad she has been dry-stored since then.

Bodywork and Paint: Minor dents on offside rear quarter. Bonnet has become spotty needs re-spraying. The usual corrosion around the rear number plate.

Front seats need new squabs.

Mileage: 180,000. Approx.

Specification:

2 Litre; Manual five Speed.

Has the well known and durable Red Block 8 valve engine.

A lot of spares included, too.

I am unable to load images at present as Photobucket has screwed up my accounts from their greed! Presently searching for another sensible picture host.

Please PM if anyone has interest.

Car is in Essex.
