Admins: Why am I forbidden to reply to my own thread?

Dear Admins:

I keep getting this error when trying to replace to my own thread:

Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /newreply.php?do=postreply&t=280267 on this server.

Your IP address is: 77.xx.xx.xx

(I censored my IP)

Why?
What rules have I broken?

Hi Swiss,

I occasionally get this too, I generally log off and leave it an hour and then it seems to be okay. If it is the same problem that you are experiencing - I don't think it is designed behavior of the forum, I think it is more likely a transient technical issue somewhere between the webservers and my ISP.

Hi Swiss and Tannaton,
I sometimes get the same message when trying to edit a previous post having spotted an error - if you left mouse button click on the "go advanced" tab, that too will sometimes allow immediate access without logging off and waiting a while, it will also allow editing with added photos, text format etc. - the other option which sometimes works is to clear the cached browser history.

I hit the same problem on this Sunday just past but never prior to that, so possibly it's an issue which has developed just recently?

As with ASt85, this affected me when trying to edit/preview replies.

Might work - clear your browser cache? Or try using a different browser and see if that solves the problem. If using your pc, try on your phone and vice versa. Good luck !
