Default 3 CD cassette......no worky

Evening everyone,
I have an issue with my CD cassette, as it won't load. lots of whirring, self ejecting the unit, self loading the unit, more whirring, self ejecting the- you get the picture....
Has anyone found a fix for this? or has it had it's day, and needs replacing in it's entirety?

Nick.

Hello,
Is it an SC900 or SC901? I had the same with my 900 and following this guide I have been fine:

http://www.reasonfailed.com/cd-changer-fix.html

Good luck

OK, I have followed the guide in the link that was kindly provided by Ovlov,
and with the lid off the unit, I can see that the cassette actually loads
the CD, and it lowers into the chamber, and the cassette retracts back into place, but then there is a strange and above normal whirring sound coming from the disc playing section, as if the drive for the disc via a belt of some kind,
is not functioning.
Is it possible that the belt or similar, has come off/broken? Can't really see
into the unit that far, without open-heart surgery on the unit, and I will probably
render it totally spannered if I did that without a little guidance!
