reggit Premier Member Last Online: Today 21:45 Join Date: Feb 2012 Location: Preston	In-tank pump is far more likely to fail (from around 120,000) than the high pressure pump. One test of the tank pump, run the car low on diesel. If it stops with about 1/8th tank left it's duff. Mine was intermittently faulty for ages so was a git to trace.
