Don't forget that the Top Gear Africa Special airs tonight on BBC2. Looks like James May brought along the 850 R, I'd have thought it would have been Jeremy.

Finally! It's been a log time coming. Nerd moment though, isn't the 850 in the show a T5-R rather than R?

Wonder what model the beemer is. I used to have a 528i touring that looked remarkably like the one in the show.

Love the 850R that Captain Slow is driving but thin the Impreza that hamster has might be a better bet.....

It's an 850R, even if it was debadged you can tell by the Volan alloys and seats having alcantara inserts and larger leather bolsters.

The 850 actually looked pretty decent as they started out, but the 528 and 850 R was never the right cars for Africa lol... But it makes for entertaining viewing :-D
The front shield on the volvo was a quality mod though lol !!
