Red face 850 t5 manual obd2 1996 missfire

Hi i have a 1996 850 t5 manual estate,

1st thing in the morning i start it, she ticks over for a minute or two then dies?

Restarts immediately with no problem. Also when on a drive she boosts to around 10psi and hist what is like fuel cut? (this car is remaped btw) when she miss fires and i floor the throttle it clears and the car continues to boost but feels muffled and the power comes and goes as she accelerates.

Cant find any vac leaks (as this is what it feels like) ie split intercooler pipe.

I'm thinking fuel pump as this is quite noisy and seems erratic in its behavier on tick over, Have changed the fuel pump relay made no difference.

Any thoughts please?
