Notchy steering
I changed the corroded abs rings a month ago and since then my steering feels a little notchy mainly on left handers. It is not as smooth as it was before. Anyone any ideas? Colin.

Do you get it on roundabouts? Could be steering rack, this seems to be a known issue with the steering "pulsing" as you go round.

Its not pulsing, its more like a tight spot. Only happened after I changed the abs rings. I wondered if I may have knocked the tracking or camber angle out?

What was disconnected during the repair ? The lower strut bolts have a little adjustment (camber). If you undid the ball joint (less likely) if the ball socket has some wear, the ball might rotate to another position and feel different - but it's a long shot.

Did you undo the 2 large strut bolts ?
The spring might not be correctly seats in the hat? |
