Honestly, based on experience, get a Volvo OEM one from the dealer. Sure, it's not the cheapest but the electrical system in my V50 threw up all sorts of voltage errors with an aftermarket one despite it being the right spec. Local garage has had multiple problems with Ford era Volvos and Fords not liking aftermarket alternators. I ended up swapping an aftermarket one back to a Volvo supplied one and all errors went.

The exact part number will depend on what ampage of alternator was fitted from the factory. You'll see that on a sticker on the alternator or you'd need to use VIDA to interrogate the car software to see what's fitted. If you change the ampage you need a software update to reflect it from the dealer so best ensure you stick to the same spec.

Just my 2p worth.
