i fitted the same one ,pretty easy wiring but you cant turn the dammed very loud beep off when you arm or disarm it (at 5 oclock in the morning it is noticeable)
i do though have a problem with the immobiliser it often remains on when you turn the alarm off so i have unfortunately disabled that feature.
you can also buy a separate sparkrite dooda that
opens the doors when you turn off the alarm but i havnt bothered with that. (sr911 i think)
easy to fit if you comfortable with your wiring.
not sure if theres any insurance discount for it if its fitted i forgot to mention it at last renewal

thanks
i think thats what im going to go for, is very easy to fit, and a bonus is that the manufacturer is very close to me if i have any problems dont think im going to bother with the remote locking part as its really not needed just something ive got used to over the years!!! the only rhing im bothered about is that i leave for work at 3.3oam so that may be an issue i suppose any alarm would be.

i talked to the auto lecs and he told me that they cant be turned off but you can actually stuff some cotton wool in the siren to mute it a little and guess what, it really does work!!! not too loud and loud enough to hear when it goes off
