Default V60 Nav Route Calc

Evening all,

Is there anyway to get the nav to prompt the route choice before starting guidance, like the older Senus?

I do not think so. You only can set your preferences beforehand in the settings. It will always use those unprompted
But you can go in the menu on the left side of the map and change it there somewhere. Personally I have not found any use for it, as the new system seems to grip much more sensible solutions on the first try than the old system did.

Yeah, I must admit with the addition of RTTI it’s waaaay better, it’s just nice to see the route it’s planning for you before setting off.

I had an XC70 that had the route choice and was missing this until the technical chap at the dealers showed me how to do it.
With a destination set tap on the 3 dots on the bottom of the left hand vertical bar to make it two vertical bars then tap on itinerary this will bring up a horizontal bar and on the right is alternative routes tap that and it bring up and shows a choice of fastest, eco, and scenic. It defaults to fastest, but it does show you the 3 different routes so you can see if it is trying to do anything odd, though I must say so far it has been pretty sensible.

Just when I thought I knew every option on my MY19 car, I find another one.
This is a key benefit of this forum that can we share knowledge and hopefully help others.
Many Thanks ah394 for informing us of this very useful hidden away menu option.
