Options with XC90
So I am going to order a new XC90 D5 Inscription. I have figured out almost everything I want to have there but there are still few question marks.
Wheels 20" without air-suspension? I want to get 20" wheels 5 Double spoke matt tech black Diamond Cut with 275/45 Michelin noise damping tyres. Anyone has it without the air-suspension? How is the ride comfort? Unfortunately my dealer does not have this version for testing. I prefer to go without the air-suspension because I want to avoid potential future problems and also as I keep reading it does not add much to comfort (or the difference is negligible). And I am not interested in advantages of air-suspension other than comfort (no dogs, no offroad,...). Alternatively I could go with Momentum and get only 19" wheels with Continental tyres 235/55. Sunroof Yes/No? I want to get HUD. And sunroof comes with HUD in Xenium package, in which case the option of having sunroof would cost me only 715EUR, which is acceptable. Probably for kids in the back row it is more amusing with the sunroof. And more light inside. But then come potential problems...leaking, increased noise, increase heat inside, etc. Homelink I think this is quite popular mainly in the US market. Does it work nicely with all modern (recent) garage doors and alarms? The goal is to get rid of those remotes just lying around in the car centre console.

I always choose the sunroof to brighten the cabin - modern ones don’t leak really. Plus you can open it on summer evenings when it’s not too hot!
