If it turns out it's the control module is shafted are they coded to the car or could I pick one up down the breakers, after reading some other pages I gather they are not cheap around £500

If it turns out the SRS module is broken, you can try https://www.crashdata.co.uk/Default.asp - who can fix your module.

It's located underneath the centre console, at the back.

Could save you some money over what the dealer will charge.

You should try getting it out yourself and contact Crash Data about fixing it.

This thread might help you - https://www.volvoforums.org.uk/showthread.php?t=207358

There is a browser add-on that you can install into Chrome/Firefox etc. that supposedly replaces all the missing pictures.

Well I cannot recommend crash data enough I removed the SRS module and sent it off Monday they fixed it and it was returned on Wednesday iv just replaced the module and put everything back together in under an hour put the key in and turned her on and BOOM the warning triangle and the air bag light is gone all at a cost of £76 including the postage massive difference from the dealership quote 👍🏻🍺

Sorry to hear that, I would have thought crashdata would've done a good job.

A weak battery can cause all sorts of issues from what I've read/heard.
