  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

I would have gone in cabin but really couldnt find a safe and easy place, especially when it involves drilling into the trim......

No drilling is inolved if the OEM beacket is used.
Removing 2 bolts of the passenger seat allows the bracket to slide in place.

Would anyone in a car fire situation actually open the boot and take out a fire extinguisher? It should be easily to hand in the car or just get out and get everyone as far away as possible. Going to the boot takes too long and is a potential danger.

Just a thought.

Depends where the fire is and if it is your vehicle on fire.....

Remember a fire extinguisher can become a missile in a crash situation, it should be clamped down well, not in one of the loose fit spring clip mounts like in the back of my van....
