Complete running car for sale. Perfect bodywork and interior. 15" Alloys with tyres (40% tread). Under bonnet the car looks like new and runs the same.

I want approx. £250 for the car - but may break if a single significant part is sold. I am near Ipswich in Suffolk and due to long working hours am unable to do any major dismantling myself.

The only reason I took this vehicle off the road was the price of petrol - 60 miles per day commuting to work.

Hi Paul
The car needs a new centre silencer box and possible replacement or re-sealing of the nearside headlamp unit. A few bulbs have been removed and a good vacuum of the seats which have developed some mold which dusts off quite easily.

The car has a new caliper on one of the rear wheels - I think the pads were replaced at the same time. I have the rear spoiler - I thought about putting it on my current diesel V40. The front spoiler piece appears to be made of wood and is under the bonnet - probably not original!! I do not have the wipers for the h/lights. I don't think there is much wrong with the exhaust although it has been standing for about 9 months. There was a slight blow when the engine was started on Saturday for the first time in many months. I could scrap the car for £150 but as I said in the forum it has still got a lot of life left in it. (I also have the radio code) I would accept £200 for the car as i would realistically get more for the interior and alloys. I would rather see it put back on the road. So if you would like to buy it I have named my best price and would be sad to see it go. BTW I thought about doing an LPG conversion and was quoted £1200 for the job. Still worth considering as the car would still last for another 5 - 10 years with ease.
