Hi Guys. I have problem because I buy used XC60 D4 R-Design 2L model (2013/2014 Face Lifting version). I have Sensus NAV Europe 0C72 V 30.13.02. I have new update from Volvo website 2016 in my USB MemoryStick (32Gb).
Step by Step I try to make update, but now - I dont have Licence Key.
First Owner dont have original DVD disk with licence. I try to ask my regional Dealer Volvo Marshall in Nottingham - no result. Dealer dont help me. So, I need help to update my Sensus Nav in my Volvo, but I dont have idea. I try to put my VIN number on official website to generate licence key, but this page not work.
Any idea, any help? Dealer dont help me... Thanks for any Support, Cheers, Mark

Sounds like you either don’t have the facelifted version or the update patch hasn’t been applied to your car if you have the older version of which would account for the licence key request.

Your car will need a software update before the download can be installed.

Hi all,
I have had the update done at the dealership - £60.51 at Bristol Street motors Volvo in Derby. It's gone in fine and I've now since been trying to do the update but it's taking forever! 5 hours of driving so far and it's only gone down 20 minutes. It's a brand new 32gb USB 3.1 SanDisk stick formatted to FAT32. I previously used it to try videos and music from USB without any issues at all. It keeps disconnecting during the update and it's taking forever. Is there a better choice of memory stick that works well?

Cheers.

I'm sure mine took longer than expected. I just used a usb 2 32g i think.

This isn't scientific at all, but i the same experience with a sandisk drive, bought a lexar and now updates take around 40minutes also doesn't keep disconnecting

My only thought is the sandisk uses too much power...

Or the usb port is dogdy in the car and needs replacing

I use Sandisk Cruzer Blade 64GB USB stick, it takes about 90 odd minutes to transfer to the car system.

Might look at a lexar stick then. Does seem odd that it worked fine playing mp3 and xvid content without disconnects. The progress is slowly increasing but mighty frustrating! Thanks for the replies all.

I use a Kingston 'one piece' stainless steel USB pen. Never had a problem. Make sure it is formatted to FAT32.
