Tested with Vida 2014d, Vida 2015a and Genuine Vida.This is an excellent alternative to DiCE that works perfectly with all versions of Vida and Vdash..It can read and clear fault codes, fault trace, live data and programming, it can even be used for software updates/downloads.Driver installation for this cable is simple and we will send a download

This cable will work with all Volvos made since 1999 with software such as Vida or Vdash.

This is for the cable only (lost the driver disk but google should be able to provide).

Found the drivers and can include a Vm with VIDA 2014 on it to use!

Note: VM image is large and will be on a dual layer Blu-ray data disk. Make sure you can read DUAL LAYER Blu-ray disks on your PC!

I have a laptop with W7 do you know if the mongoose will work or is it W10 only ?

Only used it with windows 10, 64bit. So no clue on windows 7 (you should upgrade as W7 is end of life!)

That said the VM image of VIDA included is already running windows 10 and I have used it with the same VM with no issues, so as long as your Win7 machine is 64bit and had enough resources to run the VIDA VM (60GB SPACE and 4GB RAM IIRC) you should be fine…
