About to buy a 144 - help!

Just about to commit to a 1971 145 in beautiful mustard yellow.

Can any of you folk guide me as what to look for in the rust department? The cars paintwork gleams, but I know that could hide a million sins.

I have heard that the window surrouinds are the first to go and can be expensive?

Please any guidence appreciated - a few points to look out for would help enourmosuly.

It is a manual ad I am not so worried about the mechanics - but any tip there would he;p too..
