Where can I buy replica Volvo Alloys in the UK?

Does anyone know if there is anywhere in the UK that sells replica Volvo 20", 21" or 22" alloys? I've not found anyone on the web selling Volvo replicas yet apart from elsewhere in Europe and wasn't sure about the risk of buying from overseas. Didn't have any luck on ebay either.

I'm looking for R design blade style alloys or similar.

Ive never in my travels seen 21 or 22" replicas. Plus, I think they would look too big on the car.

20" is a nice compromise. Cant answer specifically for the UK, but they seem to come and go here in NL (presumably as batches are made and sold), your best bet might be ebay intl.

For what its worth, replica wheels made in Italy tend to be OK, replicas made in China tend to be ****! So, buy carefully.

I thought that might be the case. There are loads on Alibaba but generally in large wholesale batches and I agree that the quality is likely to be poor. I guess it not easy to tell which are the Italian replicas when buying from the uk.

I agree that the 21" and 22" may look too large on the xc90, certainly the 22". I'm changing from a 19" and as I'm keeping the car for another 3 years, and this will be the only wheel change during that time, I want to make a decision that I won't later regret. Looking at the cost of 21" and 22" tyres the high quality ones such as Dunlop and Michelin are at least £100 per tyre dearer than the 20" tyres. Interestingly the 20" tyres are more or less the same price as 19" tyres. I do a fair few miles in the xc90 so this is another reason for choosing 20" alloys.

I actually really like the Volvo 20" R type Cratus alloys but they are like gold dust second hand. I'm tried breakers and eBay but nothing. They are however some Cratus alloys being sold new on eBay UK but they want £700 per wheel! I'm not paying that when there are very good quality alloys from reputable sellers for under £1000 per set of 4 alloys.

Also the new 2015 xc90 have some great alloys wheels that will fit the first generation xc90's that have the extended wheel arches, which mine has. Again, genuine main dealer versions will be at least £700 per alloy and was was hoping there may be replicas of these somewhere.

This place here in NL usually sells a lot or replica wheels (although at the moment they dont have any listed).

Interestingly they do have quite a few 22" listed at the moment, as well as 20" in the Range Rover Sport style.

I would presume these are reasonable quality as they come with a guarantee.

Price are v. reasonable too

You can also Google an other Dutch company called,

Vos autobanden Leeuwarden

They specialise in original Volvo alloys and also sell the summer/ winter tyres as a complete set, they charge about 100 euros for sending them to the UK.

Hope this helps, I get my own alloys and tyres in Germany from the Volvo dealer.

Thanks for that link Alex. Very useful. That shop does have one of the designs I'd seen elsewhere and really like (see photo) but the shop only sells it in 17". It's vertically identical to the OEM Volvo version which is available through Volvo up to 20" I believe.

And as Dutch bird mentions, Vos handel will post to the UK and usually have some nice stock.

Thank you for these great links Alex. That is a really good site! WOW!!.... unfortunately The Thalassa alloys are too similar to my executive ones, ....the other genuine Volvo alloys on the site are just too expensive for me. They'd need to be gold plated for me to spend nearly £3000 on wheels and tyres.

A place called hotline Motorsport alloy wheels in Stockport had some 19" 5 rdesign 5 spoke alloys. They were £750 with budget tyres. I was gona go for them but decided to get some 20" alloys.
