Default Headlights on after key off

Is there a way to control how long the headlights stay on after the key is turned off.
I do have Vida but cannot find any info related to this, it used to work when I first had my car, its an XC90 2003 model.
Currently I have set the lights to be on all the time DRL. but they go off as soon as you key off.
Is it something in the locking or alarm system that the dealer has to do?

Have you tried pulling the high beam stalk with the key out? The lights should stay on for 30 seconds or so after the car is locked.

Yes that does work thanks, but I'm sure I didn't have to that before, perhaps I have selected the wrong DRL option.
