940 estate drivers rear light unit
Hi guys, someone has smashed into the back of my Volvo in the snow and buggered off and have managed to shatter the drivers rear light unit. If anyone has one lying around, I'd appreciate it. Regards, Wade

Hopefully they did big damage to their car.
Years ago were parked in Kingscote rd Harborne, Birmingham when we had a Subaru 1800. A BMW driver slid into it in the snow and did a runner. A decorator painting the inside of a bay window witnessed the crash and took the lady drivers reg number. We contacted the police and it was a company car and no trace could be found as it seemed it was a lease car, so couldn't claim. Her car was a mess apparently, front lights smashed, as we had a towbar on the car! Our offside rear bumper crumpled and light bust and surround dented! We just fitted a new lense. Drove it for another year and scrapped it! RUH 127Y. Is it the red and yellow (standard)or the red/clear/clear/ red version? If your after the standard version I will have what you need hopefully next weekend when I buy the clear/red lights. James Last edited by volvo always; Dec 13th, 2017 at 18:33. |

Hi,
Thanks for the response. Managed to find one in Gloucester that I picked up and fitted. One of the neighbours told me when I was fitting the light that he'd seen a black 4x4 go into it, got most of the reg, but missed a digit, so I'm keeping my eyes peeled. I'm hopeful with the amount the rear bumper protrudes it would have left some damage to their vehicle. Brilliant motors, just parts are getting slightly more difficult to get hold of locally. Thanks once again, Wade |
