Photobucket shot themselves in the foot when they started charging to use it. All of the PhotoImage pics posted show up huge so where is the problem. Both of the side views of the maroon car show as the same size.
I just use the paper clip at the top of the message form and select the picture from My Pictures or where ever on the my drive. Usually select the 1600 size which in theory is bigger than requested but not had any problems. It does show in the post as a thumbnail that you have to click on, but that also isn't a problem. It just works. |

From the point of view of a reader of the post (on a laptop)
The 'thumbnail' of the red car is preferable to the blue car, the small thumbnail if I click on it rapidly opens in a new window where if I click on the image again it rapidly resizes so the car fills the screen; with the blue car in the thread all I can see is the offside headlight as the picture is so large it overspills the screen, clicking on the image takes me to photobucket which takes some time to display the whole image about the same size as the first image of the red car at postimage, but the photobucket one doesn't go full screen for me. If you're loading multiple images in a post the thumbnails would enable me to read the post and refer to the pics as I wanted/needed, whereas the large image leaves me scrolling past the edge of the pic to read the text then scrolling around the image to find the relevant bit.
