Default Cheap 855 T5 Auto.

First off, This is cheap for a reason! I'll list everything that I know is wrong/Right with the car and you can make your mind up from that.
I'm in no rush to sell her, So no silly offers.

I'll list the bad first, That way it'll save you reading the good bits first and deciding it's not for you after wasting your time reading the good

Advisorys from last MOT:

Offside front suspension arm has slight play in ball joint
Both rear brakes juddering slightly under braking
19% Imbalance on front brakes
Car doesn't pull to the side under braking, So not sure where the MOT'er is coming from with the imbalance.

Things I know about:

Been told it was an Ex CID car, Hence no service record.
Must have had some care though else it wouldn't have made it this far.
Needs both front suspension strut lower mounts. This is the rubber/metal part that sits between the spring and the top mount as a sort of bush. It hasn't made any difference to the driving of the car that I can feel, But it makes an annoying noise when you turn the steering wheel.
Bodywork scruffy. Few normal scrathes plus a deep scrape to the NSR arch.
Bits of rust bubbling through on the front wings.
Bits of rust bubbling through on the tailgate below the window.

OSF CV joint clicking slightly when pulling away round a corner.
It's done this since I've had the car, And was checked at MOT time and found to be fine.

Air con doesn't work. It's never worked since I've had the car so would say it doesn't "just need re-gassing" LOL. There are receipts for new parts for all this IIRC, So it must have all been replaced at some point.

Uses a small amount of oil, But it's not leaking. I top it up every couple of weeks.

Has an intermittent lumpy idle. Seems to last for a few days then goes again. Only threw an engine check up once, But stayed off when resetted.

Mileage... 256k odd.

Think thats it for the bad, If I remember any more I'll post them up.

Good stuff

GLE Spec, So full heated leather that works.
MOT'd until September 3rd 2010.
Taxed until the end of May.
V70 Rear clusters.
New rad from Rufe.
Both front suspension arms replaced. (Ball joint advisory solved)
Lowered 40mm.
Cruise works.

The bad stuff outweighs the good, But it's a good car for lugging crap about (Or the large Mastiff in my case) For not a lot of money.

Only time it's ever let me down, Was when it cut out randomly when the fuel pump relay was messing about. It's been replaced now though.

Price?

£300

I'll leave a 10 disc Sony changer/cassette headunit in for an extra £50
And I'll leave the dog guard in for an extra £40.
Will have the standard airbox back on too.

Oh, And it's got 3 Falken 452's and one Toyo Road runner I think.
Not sure about the spare.

Hi is the dog guard for sale?
Does it have the hydraulic/gas units on it or does it clip on to the back seat?
A friend of mine has just got a '98 V70 and is looking for a dog guard with the hydraulic units on it
Regards
Moe
