Default Leather Wear

As I am particularly fussy with just about everything, I wondered how owners are noticing the leather wear on different models, my reason for asking is that I have seen some bad examples of XC90`s under a year or two old suffering with creasing, I have seen SE`s up to Exec`s which are pretty much the same but the R Design really seems to suffer from creasing.

I think they all suffer, especially the sides on drivers seat. I treat the leather twice a Year and it doesn't seem to get much worse...

Not had the car for that long, had my '53 plate SE since May last year, but my neighbour was well impressed with the 7 year old leather comparing against his 2 year leather in a VW Passat.

I use autoglym and also bought a set of Volvo leathercare (dealer was selling the sets for £10 or so, special offer).
Make sure you have a leather cleaner as well as a cream/protector as there is usually quite some dirt coming off

Read somewhere on a previous thread a poster saying that pampers baby wipes were the best cleaning product he had ever used.

I've never tried it, but could very well work ok

One of the best tips I ever had on how to remove car wax from black trims is using peanut butter (oil). It really works, so baby wipes could very well work on leather...
