Pointers for Buying another v40
Mine has been written off
It was a great car, D3, 2L, £0 tax, really nippy but lacked the TFT screen (a minor gripe really). This time around, I am looking at another one as I really like the car (I'd consider a Kia Ceed but I think it'd be out of my price range). I'm looking at about £10,000 - £12,000. The ones I see about are all D2, which I understand doesn't have as much power? Most apepar to be R-Design, which I'm not that bothered about - it'll probably push the insurance up more than it's worth in looks. I also am not sure about engines. My 2016 model was at the time they changed the engine from a rubbish one to a good one I think? Someone at work said their D4 was always giving them problems. Is this one to avoid? Are there any other things I should be aware of? Looking for a diesel. Don't mind whether it's auto or manual. I am leaning on auto as I am also a bit lazy.
