Good luck with the search. If looking on ebay, avoid this seller: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Volvo-Amaz...item19ea205355

Indeed, good luck with your search. We use all the classic Volvo dealers and find them all to be friendly and efficient.
However I feel it only fair to say that we've bought a few bits and pieces from the seller linked to on ebay and have been only pleased by both the items and the service. Granted we haven't seen the car that's for sale but it's hard to tell from pictures anyway.
Always take someone with you to look at particularly a classic car as there's more than meets the eye, Amazons have particular weak points which are only visible by getting properly underneath and having a good poke around.
Once again good luck,
Caron

Lynn, you would be welcome to have a look at my car. It is a reasonable example of the marque and I would be more than happy to have a look at any potential purchase. I am fairly new to Amazons but have owned a wide variety of classic cars for many years. I am in North London.

The advice and experience on the forum is of significant benefit and is invaluable.

All the best.

Thanks Ken, that would be really good. I'm not around for the next couple of weekends but will follow this up with you shortly.
