Hi
the fuel system on a 90MY is bosch LH2.4 in needs a lambda signal to correctly monitor the fuel /air ratio it will bring the engine warning light in time,a short time, and will run really rich ,why run with out a sensor anyway, the only volvo to run without its lambda sensor is the old 400 turbo with B18FT engine it ran a open loop system, most cars are closed loop systems |

It'll run, but it'll go into run home mode and will be a pig to drive. You need the sensor working properly.
