Default VIDA/DICE Question

Hi all, been doing some research into purchasing Vida/dice. Up to now all the eBay ones come with a software disc. Unfortunately according to what I have read, it needs to be run on windows 7 pro 32 bit.
I have a Mac running MacOS Mojave and can install other operating systems on it but not windows 7. It will only let me install windows 10 64bit.
I have actually come across someone selling just the software on eBay that states it will run. On windows/Mac/Linux.

Just wondering if anyone else had purchased it off this seller or knows of anyone else that’s running it on a Mac and where they got it from?
Thanks

Link below is the eBay page with software on in case anyone was interested

You can run Windows 7 x32 in VirtualBox alongside MacOS instead of booting it through Bootcamp and that will work fine.

The guy in question is selling hooky Windows with VIDA installed which he's probably just gotten off one of the other Volvo forums that has it for download.

I have been trying to locate a local VIDA owner who can assist me with installing VIDA on my Win7 Pro/IE9 laptop. In the past I have installed other proprietary diagnostic software without too much trouble but VIDA has got me absolutely foxed. If there is any long-suffering VIDA owner in the Hants/Dorset area who would be willing to show me how he installed the program, I would travel to him for the favour. Anyone out there?

It was hard enough to get IE9! Nanny Microsoft really went out of her way to stop me as she needs all her children to run Win10! Are you saying that after all that effort I shouldn't be trying to run VIDA alongside IE9?

IE is critical to function,

The only way Ive got it to function reliability was to install it to a Win 7 vmware image, that is set not to update.

Im certain IE9 will be most of your issues.

I use IE11 on a fully updated 7 Professional laptop which runs Vida fast and stable and is used daily.

I've also pm'd you.

No I'm not, but have you tried it ?

One more point...I know we are all excited and ready to go after the installation has completed....but did you install the patch ?
