Default 2003 S60 SE+ Bi-Fuel MOT'd & Taxed

Here I am advertising my friends S60 Bi Fuel

Its 2003, bought around 18 months ago with problems, currently has 201k on it and running perfectly.

At 190k it was running off cylinders and had a slipping clutch, the engine was removed, stripped down, new valve, clutch kit and flywheel fitted. At the same time it was fully serviced, inc timing belt and all fluids. I was involved in this, there was no wear at all on the engine at this mileage, so its either been very well looked after or has recently had an engine overhaul. Gas distributor was also replaced at this time, the system was then serviced by myself this week and a brand new distributor fitted, so is now running faultlessly.

Economy wise, I figure it to be roughly the same cost as my TDi S70 to run, buying LPG at 74.9ppl, so on gas its the equilvent of 45mpg.

SE+ spec includes TV / DVD / SatNav & built in phone kit which uses its own sim card (on Orange PAYG and included), on top of 3 position memory seat, 2 keys and fobs, electric windows & mirrors (drivers mirror has been disconnected as it kept moving down when the car was unlocked, heating element still works though), also has the usual heated seats, climate control, 4 disc CD, also has tinted rear windows.

Being Bi-Fuel it doesn't have the trip computer as the DIM is used for the petrol gauge (DIM has been repaired recently too)and has no spare wheel.

I have driven this car for the last 1000 miles since my friend passed it to me to sell for him, it drives like a car with 100k, the body work is almost faultless, some small scratches on the bumpers, so small the camera doesn't pick them up, worst part of the bodywork is a couple of dents on the passengers rear door, everthing on the car works as it should except for the DVD player, SatNav is untested as we couldn't get a set of discs to try it out.

6 months Tax is included in the sale starting from 1st Sept, MOT expires in Feb, car is back on its orginal english number which is a 52 plate.

Price is £2495 ono

Ok, so as some of you have probably read, I ended up buying this car myself. Owned / been driving it now for over 2 years and has give very little bother. Only jobs I've had to do are the usual S60 jobs. The radiator was replaced due to a pin hole and slight leak, both front lower suspension arms were replaced in February this year for MOT, along with O/S inner steering arm / track rod. Its been serviced twice since I've had it with another due to be done next month. Rear tyres will need to be replaced before the bad weather sets in but there is still nearly 3mm of tread on each, front tyres are around 5mm. On top of all the work carried out when my friend bought it, I've fitted a swan neck towbar, replaced the audio amp, modified the LPG filter and have a spare cartridge, had the DIM repaired which still has 1 years warranty left and change the alloys for the ones in the pic's. I still have the wheels the car came with and these can be sold along with the car or replaced and I will keep the C70 wheels (deal to be arranged during negotiations) The car has 218k on it at the minute and is in everyday use, so this will increase. Running costs: Well for £35 - £40 of LPG (buying at 76.9p) it will do easily 200 miles, normally 250, but on a run will reach 300. Everything works as it should, TV works, but obviously as its analog there is no signal, SatNav will hopefully be tested soon but believed to be working. Built in phone works as it should and has a sim card costing £8/mth on Orange which could be transferred to the new owner. Drivers door mirror has been disconnected because everytime the car was unlocked the mirror tilted fully down. I intend to reconnect this as the battery has been removed and hopefully has reset whatever the fault was, heated mirror works as it should. I have pic's of the engine when it was out and stripped and can email to anyone interested. Can't think of anything I've left out.
Anyway, here's the pic's........

From before I owned it......

Price? I'm thinking £1750 but open to genuine offers. I want a good V90 / 965 as I miss the space of an estate, one with LPG in particular, would also consider a Ph1 V70TDi with good spec, leather, climate, cruise ect, so possible part exchange which would include me coming over to mainland UK for the right car
