Default V70R family pack

I've got a 2002 V70R with family pack (7 seat) but the automatic gearbox is failing - car is drivable - but MOT has just run out and the tax runs out at the end of this month (Feb 12). I don't really feel like getting it repaired as the kids are grown up and we are downsizing maybe to a V50. The dealer trade-in offer is derisory so I'm open to offers. E-mail me citizendave at pobox dot com if interested.

I'm hoping to get an offer of around £1,000 at least. I've already turned down £500 as I think that's just too low.

The gearbox is the standard automatic gearbox.

I'm out of the country until the end of the week but please feel free to e-mail.

Why don't you split it? You'll easily get £1000 for the interior, bumpers and 7 seat conversion. Never mind wheels and engine.

Default Thanks!

Thanks to everyone here for all of the helpful advice. I do realise I could get more by splitting it but I'd really prefer just to have a quick sale and be done with it so I can get something else. I've received a couple of bids for £1,000 so I'll give them a ring when I'm back in the UK at the end of the week and sell it to the highest bidder!
