Default Loss of power no turbo

I've still got my trusty s40 2.0d and it's never had running issues and today I went to overtake and the car had no grunt at all as though the turbo had walked off the job.
I pulled up down the road no warning lights on so I turned it off and back on and all the power was restored....what's the usual suspect lads on the 2.0d the MAF ? It has to be electrical for it to restore after a switch off and back on and on the second journey it was pulling like a train.
Thanks

It could be something as minor as a leaking vacuum pipe, good luck

I've been under the bonnet checking the lines but nothing, my money's on a sensor with it driving fine after switching it off and on.
Thanks I will run it let it develop as my old man used to say and try and get it read in the meantime.

Could be tcv, my misses just bought a 09 2.0l D focus with same engine as Volvo. Only difference it would throw a dash light due to newer software. Anyhow, i would erase the code and would be ok for a few miles then would come back on with turbo boost gone again. Put a new tcv on and been fine since!
