Default V8 S80 2007 Spark Plugs & Brakes

Can someone help in deciding what spark plugs i can use. I know the obvious answer would be go to Volvo but Im sure there would be cheaper or equivalent options available.

Also Could do with some advise on brakes as when i look up on various sites there are 2 options, how can i determine what version I have for both front and rear.

Thanks in advance

Give the parts people you vin if they can't get it by your reg and they should be able to tell you which size brakes you need. They did that for me at as there were a few different sizes.
Spark plugs no idea sorry, just go for a main well known brand is what I would do.

Hi, I just bought some rear discs and pa's from the ebay company "volvopartstrade". They are genuine Volvo. You message them your Reg and they tell you which listing to buy.

I paid 160 including vat and P&P. My local volvo quoted me almost 250GBP.

Ask them.

If you try and run a V8 XC90 on the cheap it is likely to be a disappointing experience...

Volvo plugs are the best you can buy - if you have a search on the P1 S70 V70 C70 forum (the platform the T5 engine first appeared in) you will find a number of people having problems that were cured when Volvo spark plugs were fitted over NGK, Motorcrap, etc.

With regard to your brakes - all UK XC90's had the same brakes front & rear (336/308mm respectively).

The Volvo plugs for the V8 are Volvo branded Denso 4504 at twice the price. Just find the brand plugs Volvo put`s their name on and purchase at about half the price for any model Volvo. Not necessarily the best you can buy, but certainly a known quantity.

The OP has a v8 S80, not an xc90.

the rears are either solid or vented and then either electronic or traditional handbrake.

You can probably see the vented vanes by looking and hopefully you know if its electronic handbrake already!
