460 Windshield Wiper Arm Wanted RH Drive

So I'm looking for one (1) wiper arm for the front windshield from a right hand drive Volvo 440/460 1994-up. Must be able to ship to Sweden.

We have left hand drive cars here in Sweden so I can't get one from any local pick-n-pull yards.

I'm going to modify my wiper system to a single wiper and having the wiper parked on the left side, if I use the left hand drive wiper arm it wont lay flush with the cowl panel (se picture).

Anybody that can help me out her?

62 ppl have watch this wanted ad/thread and not a single one want or can help me out *sigh*

I understand most of you don't have the time to run around on scrap yards finding parts for a random guy in Sweden, but you can't even direct me to a scrap yard that might have a wiper arm so I could contact them myself and see if they would ship one to Sweden.

As you know, Eric, the 400 series have become something of a rarity these days and very few breakers yards, at least in this part of the world, keep older vehicles such as these. You may have a better response/luck from the 400 Wants section or take your chances on eBay.

Failing that I may have a pair of RHD S/V40 wiper arms in my shed (I will need to find them) if you wish to experiment with those.

Thanks man, I'm surprised they are a rarity in your part of the world ;-) We got plenty of them in our scrap yards around Sweden, but they are all LHD :-( I searched eBay but all I can find is LHD wipers.

I asked so many ppl on different FB groups if they could help out, but not even a reply. Frustrating as hell.

Only just seen this - as was mentioned you'd have done better posting on the 400 series wants section...

I don't have any spare 440/460 wiper arms, but I do have spare 480 wiper arms. They're very similar although not identical.

Driver and passenger side - on RHD cars at least - are quite different; do you have one side or the other in mind? If you're looking to centrally mount then the LH side one might be better as it's shorter, although the RH one sits parallel to the scuttle whereas the LH one doesn't quite...
