I have just taken the car for a good 20mile drive at various speeds all through the road range and the light has gone out so either the MAF is on its way out or vapour accumlutated on it also given it a good spray with carb/throttle housing cleaner and cleaned the contacts so hopefully it will do the job.

On a side note I was dubious on the car doing the 0-60 in 8 something seconds being an automatic and I can now confirm it can do it infact i'd say it was less than 8 seconds.
